We own an older home in Bolton, and have been restoring and updating since the property was purchased in 1989. Last year we decided to complete the last and most important piece – our kitchen. Accomplishing this would entail the demolition of the existing kitchen, dining room and bath, digging a foundation, breaking through the foundation wall from old to new and constructing a new kitchen and dining room space. To accomplish this we needed to find an architect, demolition/excavation company and a GC to build and finish the project…and since we would be without a kitchen, we needed it done as quickly as possible. We knew there was one person we could turn to who was capable of accomplishing the entire project—Curt.

Curt was on the job, every day, to be sure that the project was completed as professionally and quickly as possible. Curt listened to what we envisioned, and he worked diligently to be sure that we had the kitchen we’d always hoped for. We got that, and more.

It was, and continues to be, a pleasure to work with Curt as he completes construction on our new back porch.

As we sat in our whirlpool tub with a glass of wine to decide what we would like to say regarding our experience with Curt Plante Construction Company, we found that our smiles told the whole story. We have been impressed with the builder's work since the first day we took a tour of one of his homes. The quality of the work is exceptional and the materials used are superior. The feel of the home needs to be experienced first-hand, but what we can say is that it immediately felt like home.

What sealed our decision to buy a home was the builder himself. Curt Plante is obviously proud of his work and takes great care in the details. We were confident after meeting him that he would deliver the home we wanted.

Building our home was a pleasant experience, contrary to the stories we've heard about other builders. Curt established a time-line and kept us on track with all of our selections. When there were any changes we wanted to make, he provided us with the options and followed through with the particulars. In cases where we weren't sure what decisions to make, we could trust Curt's experience in the industry to guide us in the right direction. There was severe weather that delayed early portions of construction, but Curt pulled his sub-contractors together and actually completed the house ahead of schedule.

Having lived in our home for some time now, we are still thrilled that we bought a home from Curt Plante. We have and will continue to recommend his company to anyone looking to build a custom home. -John and Maria

When we first called Curt, we didn't have an idea of what we wanted to do - only that we needed to add another bedroom upstairs. We asked him for a price on connecting our garage to the house, and putting a bedroom in the garage. When he saw that the project was beyond our budget constraints, he walked around the house, thought a moment, and said, "You know what I'd do? I'd just work with what you've got here." So Curt drew up plans that had us moving a few rooms around, and taking out a few walls to open up some rooms.

At every step of the way, Curt was less concerned about making the most money for himself, and more concerned about, A) meeting our needs, and B) making sure we were happy with the quality of the work. He is a very good listener, and was good about finding out what we really wanted. And if we did have concerns about any thing that had been done, he responded immediately.

It was a pleasure to work with a real "one-stop shopping" guy" like Curt - he did the drawings, lined up all the subs, ordered the material and monitored the work. After contracting previous jobs ourselves, it was nice to have somebody with Curt's expertise run the whole show.
